Review summary

Over all cruise was good! I enjoyed myself with my family. I will travel with MSC maybe a year from now, allow them to work out the kinks. The price was reasonable so I won’t say I would never travel with them again. Maybe a shorter trip.

Good

Madison Theatre

5 out of 5

Nice size. Seating was enough for the crowd.

Tribeca Restaurant

5 out of 5

Loved the menu each night. I like the restaurant better than the buffet. It could have been a little quicker, not sure if it was our waiter having more tables he can handle, or just the kitchen staff was a little slower than normal

Sports Bar

3 out of 5

Drinks was good. Wish we could order appetizers while we drink and watch our sports. But I guess you would have to eat first then go to the bar

Ocean Cay Restaurant

The variety was impressive. Desserts was delicious.

MSC Excursions

Not the cruise line fault. Due to weather inclement all water excursions were cancel.

Long Island Pool

Beautiful area

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The last night on cruise show was awesome. For a ship that size needed more entertainment. The all white night was a good idea loved to see everyone in white. The music/band selection could have been better. A little bit of line dancing music to get everyone up and going would have been fun. A little mix music would have been enjoyable.

Children's Programs

We did not travel with children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I must say our waiter, room stewards and bartender s was amazing. Did not know who the cruise director were.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Absolutely one of the best I’ve seen.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean. Perfect size. Shower was a little small. Loved the hooks behind the door. Very updated and the fixings elegant.

Ship tip

Get to the buffet early. The lines are extremely long, and the food runs out quickly before they are able to replace. If you travel with children, I noticed they had their own little food section . That for me was very nice.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Nassau, Bahamas

This port has definitely increased there tourist area. Loved the colorful buildings and the amount of shops there

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

The beaches were nice, but was expecting music on the island. Maybe a show as you’re coming on the island. Maybe a water park for the kids

This part for me was a downfall. Took 2.5 hours to leave off the ship. So you were told a specific time, however the steward was knocking on the door way before our time letting us know we had to leave now. When we did leave the room, we got on a line that took us around the ship. Why couldn’t it not be stations set up for exiting. Also, when our card was scanned to leave off the ship we were told we had to go on another line to settle our account. Well the night before we settled our account. So that took another 30 minutes.
