Would like to thank a waiter by JenniLaw

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seascape

I would like to show gratitude for waiter Kevin Selgas and his asst. John Sarsoza for great service and attention to the details while we were sailing. They did great job and we never felt unsatisfied. They could serve us even we were at different restaurant or had a different table. If somebody ever sail on Seascape, do not hesitate to be served by them as they will bring much more enjoy along with ship entertainments.

Fun, but many unexpected up charges. by SKcruising

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape

I loved the ship but MSC runs it horribly. Wish there were less up charges and not feel like a budget cruise for the same price.

Great ship, Yacht Club is amazing by GrumpyTexan

If you can splurge for Yacht club, DO IT. The service and perks are all absolutely amazing. We did the interior so it made it more affordable.

Worst Cruise I've been on by teri1970

Should have stayed with Royal. Didn't get any of our perks with the status match. Ship was beautiful but service needs to improve significantly.

Disappointing service by keylam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape

It is a beautiful ship, with nice accomodations and good destinations. But the service is not good: many staff members can’t keep up, are rude or clueless. For that reason I don’t think I would go on another trip with this cruiseline.

Terrible experience by sadiebratt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape

I had the unfortunate experience of embarking on an MSC Seascape cruise recently, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. Here's a comprehensive rundown of my dismal encounter: Hygiene Horror Show: To kick things off, I was greeted with the charming sight of poop floating in the water park. Yes, you read that correctly. The supposed 'fun' aquatic area turned into a disgusting pool of filth. It's safe to say I avoided that area like the plague. Culinary Catastrophe: The food on this cruise ship was, to put it kindly, barely edible. I'm not the pickiest eater, but I struggled to find anything remotely appetizing. It felt like they were testing the limits of how awful cruise food could be. Mystery Respiratory Illness: If the abysmal food wasn't enough, I also contracted some mysterious respiratory illness during the cruise. It's anyone's guess what it was, but it definitely wasn't what I had in mind when planning a relaxing vacation. Collective Misery: It wasn't just me; every person I had the misfortune of running into seemed to be having a terrible time. There was a pervasive sense of dissatisfaction that hung over the ship like a dark cloud. Rude Bartenders: If you thought you could drown your sorrows in a drink, think again. The bartenders were not only unhelpful but downright rude. It's as if they were on a mission to make our experience as unpleasant as possible. Sweltering Saunas for Rooms: The rooms were like saunas, but without any of the relaxation. They were hot, dry, and incredibly uncomfortable. Good luck getting a decent night's sleep in those conditions. Financial Fiasco: And to top it all off, I discovered random charges on my credit card with no way to access the ship's app to see a receipt. Talk about adding insult to injury. In conclusion, my MSC Seascape cruise was an absolute disaster. It was riddled with hygiene issues, terrible food, mysterious illnesses, unhappy passengers, rude staff, uncomfortable rooms, and financial confusion. I wouldn't recommend this cruise line to my worst enemy. Save your money and sanity and look elsewhere for a vacation that won't leave you scarred for life.

Better than Msc Seashore bit still some flaws by Razor78

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape

Besides the flaws present at the ship that doesn't ruin my cruise trip vacation, just remind there some rude passengers especially Italian they re some quite cold hearted" NOT EVERYONE " Taking aside that note I enjoyed I a good way of relax way, the better way is going to the Thermal pass that worth the extra charge it feels rejuvenated, service were astounding in Specialty Dining, in buffet hit or miss long lines of course and people skipping Lines, the main dining wasn't was I expected better was buffet, but Main dining in breakfast that's quite a service I really recommend Please note if your prom to motion sick better book middle section and lower than deck 12 cause the ship rock a little half of the trip there were some bad weather nearby causing rough waves.

Whewww Chile, nooooo by Ediva8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seascape

It was a lot of mishaps, the cruise definitely needs to improve , especially for the prices that it's charging, needs more entertainment!!! It was nothing to really do and foods choices needs to be upgraded, everyone doesn't eat high carbs like hamburger, hot dig donuts etc ,and the dining area wasn't to bad other than few new items ,and y'all need more staffing #Period!!!! You can tell their staffing is limited!!! Do better !!!! This was my first MSC cruise, and it was overwhelming and awful!!! I'm so sad I spent that much money on the experience I received!!!!

Major rip off by ALSstinks

The crew was very friendly. Slow service because so many people on the ship. The cabin, 14003, supposedly a suite, was totally misrepresented on the website. It was the worst balcony and bathroom of any ship I have ever been on. I have been on over 30 ships

Disabled or have mobility issues? Please read by markspivak

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seascape

This was a lovely cruise which was ruined on the last day by the insensitivity of the MSC staff toward my wife’s physical disabilities. First, the good points. The best thing about the Seascape, in my opinion, was the crew. Without exception, they were friendly, polite and helpful. This even appeared to be true outside the Yacht Club, where they were dealing with a situation that was challenging at best. The food was also very good. The YC Restaurant tried very hard and succeeded about 90% of the time. On disembarkation, everything fell apart. A crew member pushed my wife in a wheelchair into the terminal, which was thronged with hundreds of people. The staff repeatedly insisted that she walk, which she is not able to do. They wanted her to exit the terminal on her own and cross a heavily trafficked roadway to get to the automobile pickup point, which would have resulted in a fall, injury, or worse. After screaming at them three or four times, they finally seemed to understand, but it was a lengthy and stressful process. MSC would probably say that the terminal wasn’t theirs, which was true, and that they were at the mercy of the people working there. However, the MSC staff in the terminal were the worst of all. They showed no respect or consideration toward her. (As a side note, the line misplaced one of our bags. I have no idea if they lost it or whether another passenger picked it up by accident, but I haven’t heard from them. If it’s lost, I can only imagine the red tape involved to receive compensation). MSC advertises stress-free embarkation and disembarkation as one of the primary benefits of the Yacht Club, and this is why we booked it. If they can’t provide it, they shouldn’t advertise it. Had I known what was going to happen, I would have booked a more responsible cruise line. If you have any kind of mobility issue or physical disability, be forewarned that these people are not looking out for you. MSC is a European line, and perhaps they’re not aware that we have laws to protect the rights of disabled people---or maybe they don’t care. Either way, it’s a disgraceful situation.

Nothing will compare from now on! by MamaMimi7421

Ship: MSC Seascape

It will be hard to cruise on anything else but MSC's Yacht Club because I am now forever spoiled! It was by far the best cruise experience we have ever had! Also, I forgot to mention it earlier, but the water slides are so much fun on the Seascape! Check them out!

Nightmare by Ctracy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seascape

The cruise was okay. I was not impressed with the buffets, pools, and entertainment. I would not give access to my son to bill to the cabin which was set up immediately. However the arcade allowed him to have a $300 bill without permission. I did purchase fun pass, but was told we did not activate it one day and then they said it was already activated. The trip was ruined when MSC SEASCAPE could not handle a delay at port. It showed how poorly managed the crew was and they created a dangerous environment with 5000 people in a few areas for over 10 hours. Carnival Celebration experienced the same, but was allowed to stay in their cabins. Seascape closed many public areas, roped off chairs, yelled about people lying down, and forced people to stand to one spot for 10 hours. They did not care about your well-being and safety. They did not accommodate for disabled people and violated many laws.
