You can have the gratuity removed but make sure that you do it within the first 48 hours of being in board and also that you want it removed for the whole cruise not just the day you tell them you wan removing. I tipped those who gave me excellent service but to be honest it wasn't very often!

*TIP* as always with getting good service treat the staff well and don't forget to add a tip where deserved, always works well for me to the point even returning to a ship I have met up with servicer that I have previously met and treated well on other ships and been given the first class service by not only them but their fellow waiters

MSC don’t have free movies of program on Tv in your cabin. Tv inside cabin is useless unless you pay. Juices only served during breakfasts. Coffee in buffet is terrible. Buffet food is as excellent as Royal Caribbean.

Don’t expect to watch television in your room if you want shows in English. Only 3 channels in English. CNN. And two ESPN. We were not in the cabin much but would have liked to watch tv before bed

Only 2 bars are open during the day all the others don’t open until 6pm, even on sea days which isn’t great when you have paid for a drinks package. It’s also like a bus service where people embark and disembark at each port, felt very busy and rushed and as if you were intruding someone else’s cruise, certainly wasn’t the relaxing enjoyable cruise we hoped for and be prepared for the multiple announcements in 7 different languages each day many times a day, gave us a headache as there is no escape from it.
