Review summary

It was what we expected from MSC. Not spectacular, but not terrible.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was pretty easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Not a lot of dining options onboard. TapWater is your only drink included, even juices cost extra (except for the breakfast). The food is decent, it won't rock your world. Buffet has quite limited opening hours.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There is enough to do, but the ship does do port heavy itienaries. There's pool and table tennis, a watersilde etc.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Basic cruise shows and music. More opera than on other cruise lines. Not much entertainment with talking since guests come from various countries with different languages.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Nickel and diming is a thing. It feels like the staff gets provision for everything they sell. Sometimes it feels like a bazar marketplace. But they are reliable and friendly enough.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean. Just a bit odd with the colours and the shiny. MSC ships all have a unique style of decor, which is not for me, but some do enjoy it. It's like they could not decide which interiors they wanted.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Good and clean. Ample storage space. Tv felt out of place and the colours were off

Ship tip

Be prepared for the upselling
