Review summary

Beautiful ship with multiple venues and activities and yet quite areas could also be easily found. If you didn't have a great time it was your own fault.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Other than an hour delay in getting on the ship due to passengers still onboard the embarkation was smooth and my lugaggae was at my cabin door before me.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great food in the main dining rooms, multiple buffet choices which changed daily, did not use specialty restaurants

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The 3 heated pools onboard offered different experiences--quite adult pool with no shade, main pool with lots of fun games, some shade and 3 jacuzzis, indoor pool-for cold days with 2 very big hot jacuzzis. Always was able to find a spot in and around the pool/jacuzzi.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every night there was a main feature show. The 2 Broadway stage shows were great, the 3 excellent solo singers, 2 funny comedians and 2 magicians were all amazing. Every night there was a theme party, karaoke, and multiple other venues for entertainment and dancing.

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on board made everyone feel welcomed and encouraged participation in the events. They were all very friendly and professional helping any way they could to make it a memorable experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful luxurious ultra modern ship with lots of sparkle. Loved the promenade area with it's ever changing magical ceiling. Meticulously maintained and always saw staff cleaning and polishing.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Booked an inside guarantee and was upgraded to a deluxe balcony. Balcony cabin was very clean and well appointed. Bathroom was small but sufficient.

Ship tip

Bring a sweater/wrap for the evenings and enjoy as many of the events asl possible. It was nice that the ship docked at piers on each island and did not have to

Ports of call

Brooklyn, New York

5 out of 5
Taking the Wall St ferry to and from the port in Brooklyn was easy.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
Loved this port with the pool, beach, lazy river ride, shops etc. right at the pier.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Loved that the ship docked at piers right in town in all the islands on this trip and did not have to use tenders. Pier was located in Old San Juan.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
easy walk from pier to shops

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
took the water taxi for $7 rt from pier to downtown Philipsburg. Beautiful beach with chairs & umbrellas for rent right next to the pier in Philipsburg-wish I had a swimsuit on.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
easy walk to shops but poorest of all the islands that we stopped at and lots of locals trying to sell tours at the end of the pier.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Used self walk off program. After breakfast in the buffett, gathered my luggage from my room and departed at appox. 7:30am. It took about 1/2 hour.
