We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was a much needed vacation.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
I am not sure why embarkation is such a mess with MSC. You do your mobile check-in to be 'fast track ready' or whatever and the lines/staff direction is still chaotic...smh
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food is always hit and miss with MSC. Even when ordering the same dish on a previous sailing, it may or may not taste the same, worse or better. The only consistent dessert I've had on this line is the Grandma Chocolate Cake and the Porterhouse Steak. They have always been great. You should definitely go to the Taco Specialty restaurant, absolutely loved it. The food was the best thing we had the entire sailing and the all-you-can-eat for like $20 is the cherry on top. Being able to taste all the menu and make our own drinks (extra$) was just wonderful.
Hola! Tacos & Cantina

Worth the money. π
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
My husband loved the 4D Cinema! I only took a video of that experience, but he definitely would do it again.
We purchased thermal spa passes for this sailing and enjoyed it very much. I looooved the ice room, it was soooo cold, my husband not so much, π€£. We didn't go every day, but we agree it's definitely worth having. The area is certainly much bigger than what we experience on Carnival, so that was a huge plus.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was great thus time around. Nina Sky tribute to Whitney Houston was outstanding!!!ππ½ππ½ππ½ We also enjoyed the Motown music show and there was something else I'm forgetting but overall we enjoyed all the shows we went too. We didn't make it to any of the comedians but we're told by other passengers that we didn't miss anything.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff is always great. They really do go above and beyond and we always shoutβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ them out in our end of cruise survey review emails they send. We were glad to see past staff and meet some new ones. πππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½
Ship Quality

They are always cleaning this ship and polishing those stairs of courseπ
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
12050 is on the starboard forward. It's near elevators, so it's very convenient b/c muster station was on deck 6 forward; so step off elevator at deck 6 and check-in. The cabin was clean. We did have to ask our steward to reclean the bathroom on day 1 b/c of an odor, but otherwise, no issues.
Ship tip
You have to manage expectations. I spent 6 days trying to find Aqua Panna water on this ship before giving up. Idk, why they only had it sporadically. Maybe they are phasing it out, idk, but I was disappointed. Also, we requested apple juice every day for room service breakfast. And every day except the 3rd to last day, they gave us pineapple juice. Friends, pineapple juice isn't even a selection option on the menu! One more thing, if you like hot dogs, I don't, but hubby does; the hot dogs are chicken π« Husband was disgusted. I am that wife that will let you know you have not gotten my husband food rightππ€·π½ββοΈ
We normally just hang out by pool when visiting Taino Bay, but this time we talked to a taxi driver and paid for him to drive us around. We also brought a few bottles of Macroix rum. We had a great time.
BABY! π₯° Antigua owes me nothing! You hear?! We had a blast at Dickenson Bay!!!!π We ate, drank, snorkeled, hung out with locals, and took the boat out to Kon Tiki floating bar! We had so much damn fun that we (and I am shamed to admit) were pierπββοΈπββοΈ Of course, we laugh about it now. But, we just had an amazing time and are planning to just book a hotel stay in the coming months.
Maho Beach is lovely!π¬π« I got some great video of planes coming in and taking off. Even funnier video of ppl being blown into the sea during plane takeoffs π€£π€£π€£ The food and drinks were great and I really enjoyed the island tour drive of just getting to and from Maho Beach.
I find this to be one of their best and most organized processes. I guess they also are like 'we tired of ya'll, please leave'π€£π€£π€£ Always off the ship and in our car within 15 minutes of luggage number being called.
