I enjoyed the relaxing trip. It was a shame we were rerouted but I appreciate MSC caring enough to do what is best! The food alone will keep me from booking with MSC again but I appreciate that I hear they are always working on improving this!

We have two different arrival times for my family of 4 and my sister, who we were linked with. We boarded at her time since she was earliest. The line was long but only took about 30min total. When we got up to the counter, the tablets used to take pictures were not working well and I saw several families having to do many retakes. I was confused about this process since we submitted our pictures online.

We did not buy any specialty dining or eat outside of MDR and buffet. The food was subpar and that was agreeable between all 5 in my party. The steaks were liked stewed meat and it was rare to get anything warm. The staff is both places were fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about our head waitress and the team of wait staff at the buffet. Everyone was very attentive. There was rarely juice available. Ice and water were hard to find at times. Pizza was good and really the only thing I looked forward to.

Outside activities were not possible due to weather but we attended all the possible shows and the evening events. Karaoke was fun but would love to see some opportunities for younger people to participate. The entertainment staff were AWESOME! Their talent show at the end of the trip was great! Loved the comedian!!! The variety show with the mentalist and magician could be removed. They were not very good. Maybe move it to a younger crowd as it was very cheesy and amateur.

EVERYONE was wonderful! The entertainment crew were super personable. They made it a point to create connections! The head waiter, Ana, was WONDERFUL!!! So sweet and attentive! Our room was always clean. The shop workers were always helpful. Everyone we encountered were wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the crew!

Size is certainly an issue but not anything that can really be changed. It was tight for a family of 4. We made it work though. The beds are hard and pillows are not that great. However, not much time was spent in the room so not as much as a focus for me.
Ship tip
Always take your own water bottle. You can refill all day long! AND coffee creamer!
Wonderful! We left out early so did not put our luggage outside the room. We left our room around 0730 and were in our car leaving by 0800. We parked at the port so very easy!
