Review summary

It was a great cruise overall. Only thing I will complain about is that it was cold in our room. The thermostat wouldn't go any higher. I'm not sure if it was because they was not prepared to be in the cold but every night and morning we woke up freezing to the point where I had to let the hot shower run to get the room warm.

It wasn't as bad as I heard it was going to be. I expected it to be worse. The wait was a little long- about an hour or so- longer than any other embarkation I've ever experienced.

We mainly ate in the dining room every night. That was a first for me as well. Usually on cruises I'll eat maybe two or three times but the food in the MDR was actually good. I feel it was better than the buffet in the marketplace.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't do any of the slides since it was cold during our whole cruise. We played in the arcade and enjoyed bowling and the virtual movies

My daughter enjoyed meeting and playing with the kids. It was a lot of kids during our cruise.

Our room steward always made sure we had everything we needed and kept our room nice and clean! Jan is the best!

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was an accessible cabin so it was very spacious. Our balcony was even bigger than most because of the location.

Ship tip

I had a wonderful time on MSC. It was my first time and it will not be my last. Even though our itinerary was changed last minute due to the storm, we ended up in Canada and Boston instead of the warm Bahamas. We still made the best of it and enjoyed every moment of it.
