Review summary

We will cruise on MSC again. Superior food quality and variety (with sea food avaliable at every dinner).

Various and very good quality food, in dining room and in buffets. We do not had gone to speciality restaurants. But, it may be somewhat difficult to find a place in bars to have a drink. The best one for emplacement is in 18th floor, not very much identified on maps, and was mostly reserved for private partys. So, no driks there for us. A little disapointed about that.

Good shows if you like some opera style, I personnaly prefered shows with musicians on stage, witch appers to be on first two ones. And yes, we are on multilingual ship! The presentator is particurlarly remarkable with his 5 languages in row presentation, (english, italian, german, french, spanish) concluded by his fun 'bing'. :)

Service and Staff

Room stewards were not overfriendly, witch I prefer. Effective and professionnal. Waiter and assistant waiter seem to be not very organised, and not much confortable with english, spoken withs various accents.

New, clean. The best parts of ship reserved for yatch club.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good bed. Not much place to unpack chlothing. I personnaly used packing cubes, and keep in my clothes, stack on a shelve. (note that only 2 small drawers, and 3 shelves, are avaliable). A contrario as previously red, there is a phone in balcony staterooms. I was somewhat disapointed by balcony chairs, witch too short backrest (no way you can relax...unless using airplane neck pillow, and manage to be lying near a wall...)

Ship tip

As in american continent, we do know much of europeans cruising companies. Se were advised that quality will not bee as good as the ones we know (RC, CC, NCL, HA) so we were a little apprehensive... This is totally unthrue!! Quality, particularly food diversity and freshness, and overall design are amasing. They make fresh pasta onboard, as well as mini mozarella, and fresh ricotta every day. They know about cruising. Do not hesitate!!
