Review summary
The Lirica ship and itinerary where excellent except for a few items like rubbery lobster that one night and tough steaks. The ship had a great "entertainment crew" that worked really hard around the pool to insure everyone having a good time. Although it is a very clean ship one could hardly find any ashtrays. All announcements were made in 5 languages and most crew members spoke several languages. Announcements as to when passengers could go ashore were not made, so one had to go to the 5th deck and find out if we had been cleared to go ashore or telephone the Reception. We were told that this was done on purpose so that people could sleep in. Most arrivals to ports were around 7 or 8 A.M.Ports of call

Pros: Great Itinerary and price. Variety of cultures and islands. Great weather.
Cons: Rubbery lobster and steaks. Not much information from the Reception on adventure activities on shore unless one took a ship's excursion. We drove our car to the parking garage, departed from Pier 4 and returned to Pier 18. We found out there was a shuttle to take us back.
Recommends MSC Lirica? Yes!
