Beautiful ship. We heard that the Mariner was headed to China for 2 years. Hope its replaced by another RCC in Galveston.

The Mariner of the Seas is a great ship with great staff. The best tip can give is to wait until the last day to do shipboard buying. They discount a lot on the last day to clear inventory.

Walk the upper decks at night and enjoy the quiet and the stars.

Just be sure to eat at Johnny Rockets and the Dog House when you get tired of the repetitive dining room menu.

The buffet serves the same offerings as the formal dining room, without a time specification. Eat at your leisure.

Room service in the morning - is how we did breakfast..coffee and light fruit saved ourselves for the nice dinners.....great desserts! Walk the stairs and use the gym or you will gain weight!!

Mariner of the seas is a nice ship, well maintained, but most of the staff seem overworked, i expected higher standard from the royal carribean line, but i think they are same level if not lower than the carnival...so if your expecting high quality white glove service, don't take this line, but if you don't expect much, then its a great adventure, would i take this line cruise again, yes only if the price is right, cause at the price they charge, its not worth it...i rather go with princess...sorry...

Stay off the 6th floor entire front of the boat. Shortest line for guest services was during the parade... the rest of the time guest services has a 30 minute wait. NOT Acceptable when neither key works to get into your room.

The Windjammer Cafe was great for breakfast. Such a large selection of food.

The promenade deck is a wonderful place to hang out and eat wonderful food from the cafe. We love the street atmosphere it is like strolling a Eurporean city.

Book a cabin mid-ship and save some long walks! I though I wanted to sail on the Oaisis, but I guess I'm just too old, (That ship's sailed).
