Overall the Mariner of the Seas was a fun ship and our cruise director (Dan Dan) was great.

Embarkation

15 minutes from shuttle bus to Ship. It couldn't have been faster.

Food and Dining

Jamie's and Chops were great. The MDR and the Windjammer were ok. I'm not a fan of the new menu. I liked when they had the salmon, spaghetti, steak and chicken to fall back on if the choices were mehhh!

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed all the activities and the pools. Just wish they would have enforced the saving of chairs around the pool. I know it's a problem on a lot of ships but this one was terrible. We came back early from Bermuda and found almost all the chairs taken with towels but only maybe a 10 or 12 people at the pool. Some days we saw chairs with towels empty for hours.

Service and Staff

All the staff was so nice. I hate to not give them 5 stars but our waiter spent 4 of the 5 days we ate in the MDR telling us about the survey and how to rate him. I know they always mention it but this became ridiculous and started ruining our dinners.
