Just wasn't fun this time, need to look at some different options. Been cruising with Royal. other company Celebraty. Bad that sailing status credits FROM CELEBRITY don't count for RC cruises unless you are Diamond status. Taking another look at Norwegian since we left them because of open dining.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Worst experience of my life, ruined cruise, 5 hours to get on ship because RC didn't have good commitments with Bermuda. Took our power strip for our 2 cpap machines and had to have two power cords to trip over the entire cruise and no place to charge phones, hearing aids, apple watches as room only has 2 plugs and none in bathroom.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food was of lower quality especially meats, many items not heated up properly, a lot of dishes just OK, drink and soda packaged ridiculously expensive
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Sows were good. Most activities for young people, rock wall, slide, surf pool. etc. Casino pays out very little. Charges for a lot of things that used to be cheaper or free
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Shows were all good, not great like you see on bigger ships, one canceled
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Waiters over worked with too many tables leaving food not always hot. Room stewards have more room, no chocolates, soap dispensor has to be pushed 100 times for 1/2 teaspoon of no suds body wash, general ship staff not attentive, hard to get their attention.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Was clean and well maintained. All spaces on ship were crowded, don't know how handicapped people got around. Layout OK but not my favorite style.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Small, tiny, hard to get around bed or to pass to go to bathroom. Room steward did a good job with room but obviouly overworked. Flush went down 2 days in a row created quite a problem.
Ship tip
Know which dock they are porting in, and how long they give you in port. This ship crawled along shortening 3 days in Bermuda down to just 1 full day.n
