Beautiful Fun Cruising by RosaandScott

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We have cruised 10 times or more. This particular cabin creaked all around; not the doors or hangers, but the whole cabin. It's located in the weakest section of the ship overlooking the Promenade where there is a stairwell and the opening goes up and down many decks. The one large decorative structure hanging in the opening is literally held in place by wires, and some were attach to the exterior wall of this cabin. However, the ship staff found us another equivalent stateroom that first night, and it was perfect and quiet. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts! We're on a cruise to have fun and also rest and relax!

8 Days on the Mariner of the Seas by sunshine799

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We had adjoining cabins. The cabins were actually fine in that we had 2 bathrooms and lots of extra space. However, the layout was not what we had expected. Our research showed a king bed with a drop down twin. We did not want to sleep with 2 restless kids. They both tried sleeping on the couches but one lasted less than a night. The other persevered but finally climbed in bed the last night to get a good night's sleep.

Bland, food poor in quality and taste, ships spaces crowded, service quality down, ship moved at a crawl reducing port time by stwalker717

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Mariner of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Small, tiny, hard to get around bed or to pass to go to bathroom. Room steward did a good job with room but obviouly overworked. Flush went down 2 days in a row created quite a problem.
