Review summary

What can I say? A perfect two weeks in Paradise. The ship was amazing, the people were awesome and the scenery was out of this world. Oh, and the sun shone. . .

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very well organised and we were made to feel really welcome

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent, plenty of choice and always hot when applicable.Desserts to ensure a couple of extra inches on your waist line before you leave!! Plenty of healthy choices too! Staff were amazing.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We didn't actually do any of the activities as my brother has mobility problems and I can't do much either but from what I saw it all looked fantastic.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Again, we didn't see any of the shows but the entertainment choice was very good with plenty for all ages

Children's Programs

We didn't have children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were awesome! Every member of staff that we came into contact with were friendly, polite, hard-working and always ready and wiling to help. We were made to feel that all staff were genuinely determined to ensure we had everything we wanted/needed and that they really cared.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well maintained. Staff were constantly running around vacuuming, mopping, dusting and making sure that the endless mirrors shone! The only criticism I had, (and it wasn't really a big deal), was that some of the decks didn't flow and you couldn't get through without going up or down a floor.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was a really good size and I had no trouble getting my brother in his wheelchair in and out or maneuvering once inside. The beds were extremely comfortable and our cabin stewards kept everything spotlessly clean and ensured we always had everything we needed.

Ship tip

Savour it all - it passes way too quickly!!!

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Port area had plenty of shops and good facilities. Never quite made it to the town but the boardwalk that we did go on was reasonable for me to push the wheelchair along with plenty of seats to take a breather and soak up the sun and the relaxed atmosphere.

St. George's, Grenada

4 out of 5
Plenty of shops in the port area. Made it to the spice markets but didn't venture very far as the pavements, where there were any, weren't really wheelchair-friendly.

Kingstown, St. Vincent

4 out of 5
Decent port. Didn't venture very far.

Fort-De-France, Martinique

4 out of 5
Modern-looking port.

Roseau, Dominica

4 out of 5
More of a cargo port but ok.

Pointe-A-Pitre, Guadeloupe

4 out of 5
Ok. Town close by with plenty of opportunities to shop. Pavements not too bad.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
Beautiful surroundings. Footpaths beyond port area not great for wheelchairs

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
Nice port. Shops in port and close by. Reasonably wheelchair-friendly

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Nice. Found a beach that we could walk to without too many problems pushing the chair!

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

4 out of 5
Quite nice. Didn't venture outside port area

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Loved St Kitts. Had to take shuttle to the town as 2 other ships occupying main berths but lots to see and do at main cruise terminal with reasonable access for wheelchair

Bequia, Grenadines

4 out of 5
Tender to port. A few stalls dotted around but not too much to see and the pavement was one big pothole!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No hassle. Well organised.
