Explore the ship! So many people on the last day were like, “wait, that is on the ship?” It is easy to keep going to the same places but change it up. 7 days and we didn’t see every venue!

Bring cards and games, not much to do on sea days. Saw more people sitting around playing games than I ever have on a cruise. Don't expect food as it's been on cruises you've been on before, it's not.

Have a great time, and understand that Mardi Gras is a new ship that everyone wants to sail. The ship is beautiful and has so much potential. We sail on the Jubilee in December and are super excited. The whole excel class is full of amazing ships.

Use the Hub App!!! I am NOT an App person but went to the Service desk to get help using it and boy oh boy am I glad I did. It was very useful and really made things easier.

Take stairs if you can elevators a joke. Many times we would wait 10 minutes for elevator then people would rush ahead of you and then you would have to wait for another one. We took stairs as much as we could unless it was 5 floors up.

Get on Bolt ASAP if you want to ride it. It was closed our last sea day. We were happy we reserved to ride it early in the cruise.

She’s huge! Make sure you have comfortable shoes. Download the Carnival Hub app. Get to any venues 30-40 minutes early as they fill up quick.

Don't go on this ship if you don't like very large crowds or if you're looking for a romantic getaway. This ship is better for large groups or people who like to party & drink.
