Review summary

Nice getaway, but disappointing compared to cruises we've done before. Carnival really needs to step it up with the entertainment and food quality if they are to remain competitive. I don't understand food and drink service ending so early, people are on vacation and hanging out late. Also drinks are too expensive and soft drinks should be free.

Food way below standard previous cruise fare. Buffets close at 9:30 pm except for 1 pizza place. I'm 64, I don't eat pizza late nights.

Onboard Activities

Most activities were too crowded to get in on. Played miniature golf and foosball, that was fun.

Entertainment

PG Comedy shows we're good, DJ Cue was awesome. Not much variety in entertainment, same shows each day.

Staff very friendly, helpful and eager to please. Our cabin steward Michael was EXCELLENT 👌👍 Referred to us by name everytime he saw us and kept things immaculate.

Ship Quality

Ship was easy to navigate, I was pleasantly surprised since it's so big. Common areas were always clean and staff were always wiping everything down from ceiling to floor, very impressed with their cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was very nice, bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet, no complaints at all.

Ship tip

Bring cards and games, not much to do on sea days. Saw more people sitting around playing games than I ever have on a cruise. Don't expect food as it's been on cruises you've been on before, it's not.
