We used this cruise to relax and recover as much as possible. We had experienced the passing of my favorite aunt not long before, so I was still a little depressed and still processing that loss. I never once thought about cancelling the cruise because my aunt loved cruising and would have been disappointed in us if we cancelled! We took long naps and enjoyed the ship as much as possible. It was a wonderful escape just when we needed it.

1st but not the last cruise on the Mardi Gras ship.

First vacation in six years and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was my first cruise and I had a ball. TJ the Cruise Director did an amazing job! Our room attendant was Larzen and he was amazing as well. I loved the comedy shows and Family Fued is a MUST!

We enjoyed the Havana area immensely as this ship holds over 6k ppl and there is a good deal of privacy and a less amount of people by far, when paying for this area. There was usually only 5 to 6 ppl in our Havana pool at any given time, which was great on the hot hours of the day. Definitely worth the increase in cost. Our next cruise this Spring will be in a Havana Cabana---certainly excited. The rest of the ship was nice and we enjoyed our vacation.

Cruising these days takes a lot of patience. There are a lot of folks on board with different backgrounds & attitudes. The Service, Food & Amenities are endless!

It was a big Beautyful ship and we had a great time!

This is a great ship to cruise on, it's easy to navigate and is designed to maximize enjoyment.

We really loved our cruise. We ate too much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute even if not every detail was perfect. Glad we went, no regrets. Don't regret the money we spent on the suite either. I just wonder if the suite experience is better on other cruise lines.

I would definitely Cruise the ship again, cabin was small for three women, Food in the main dining room is much better than the lido buffet.

The Mardi Gras is a great ship we had a wonderful time and we loved all four ports of call the entire carnival crew went above and beyond to make our vacation a memorable experience.

2nd time on ship. First time was 2nd sailing. So much better than this. Feel sorry for understaffed crew

Had a great time although the alarm wake up in the middle of the night was scary. A message should be sent out on the hub app with details in that situation telling you to go to muster or false alarm.

We had a group of 16, some first-timers, and some experienced cruisers. Everyone had a great time and I am especially happy that many liked our duck magnets we hid around the ship. We also collected 20 new ducks we didn't have before.

Overall a good cruise but a lot of people. Take advantage of the entertainment and try guys burger and big chicken, and avoid the buffet at peak times.

For my 1st cruise it was great, my wife and I were celibrating or Anniversary and the crew and staff insured we had a great time. Love and marrage was a great show

This will be my last Carnival cruise. The entire ship smells of Marijuana no matter where you go. Even inside!!! People seemed out of control and security was present but didn't seem to care.

We were a group of 16 people only bad experience we really had was the dining room some people would get their food while some had to wait a while to get any food but overall we all had a good time on the Mardi Gras…

Overall I’m glad me and my husband went alone because we wouldn’t have enjoyed it if we had to constantly worry about our kids. Kids and teens with no manners, no respect and no one watching or supervising them made a lot of the cruise not so fun for us. Love the Punchliner comedy Club and i like that they have family friendly shows early in the day. Shows and productions were amazing. Buffett left much to be desired, not our favorite at all. It’s cool that two specialty restaurants are complimentary on your first visit so we were able to experience that. Regardless of any lows, I’m very sad the cruise is over!
