We really loved our cruise. We ate too much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute even if not every detail was perfect. Glad we went, no regrets. Don't regret the money we spent on the suite either. I just wonder if the suite experience is better on other cruise lines.
Embarkation

Have a little patience and it will be fine. We chose 11:00 and arrived at around 11:30. There were lines, but they moved fast enough.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Biggest disappointment was the prime rib on the second formal night. It was inedible, really. My son's lobster was not good either. Other dinners were good to very good. Nothing "excellent" except Fahrenheit 555 which you pay a lot for. Oh, and Big Chicken got rave reviews from all of us too.
Onboard Activities

LOVED Carnival Kitchen! Did a pasta class and cake decorating class. Will definitely look for more of these classes in the future. New favorite thing!
Entertainment

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the space and storage in this suite. The balcony is amazing. I was a little surprised there was not a concierge or butler at this level. This is the second best cabin onboard and I felt like we didn't really get any extra service for it. We got a phone number for dining reservations which I wrote down and then the cabin steward hid in a stack of papers and I couldn't find it again... but we got to eat where we wanted. I can't complain. He was nice. He remembered our names and did his job well and we didn't lack for anything. I just thought there would be a little extra touch for suites. Also wish there were suites with a second toilet. 4 people sharing one is not ideal and it would be nice to have more options that are family friendly. I think for the same money next time, I would get two adjoining cabins, or a balcony and an interior across the hall from eachother. But then you'd miss out on the incredible balcony of the aft corner...
Ship tip
Be sure and connect with your sailings Facebook group if there is one. If there isn't, start one. It makes it a lot more fun and personal to feel like you're going with a bunch of new friends.
