I will definitely book the Mardi Gras again. I will just book a larger cabin. The ship is gorgeous.

The good-staff and other passengers friendly, beautiful ship with lots to do. The bad is 2 days after getting off ship I tested positive for Covid. I am fully vaccinated but feel that mandatory use of Hand cleaning, especially in food venues would be prudent.

Carnival cruise fans must sail on this masterpiece of a ship. Keep an open mind like we did and then choose your favorite class of ships like we did. We sailed on the Elation the following week and appreciated what they both represented. Very disappointed with the lack of appreciation of platinum and diamond members. The VIFP meant very little on this ship with only a glass of dry wine or soft drink. The VIFP pin had to be chased down in the Pics area along with a cheap luggage tag. The pin my wife lives to collect had no ship designation or the VIFP logo.

Overall we had a great time. Hopefully after the pandemic is over Carnival will return to their previous greatness.

We are sure to sail on the Mardi Gras again in the future.

Our family of 8 had a fantastic time and will certainly cruise again. There were some challenges along the way but we were on vacation. The Carnival Cooking classes are a great new addition to the ship.

First time as a solo cruiser. I had a blast! Loved the ship, the crew/staff were amazing! Food was great! Love the Specialty Restaurants. Shows were really good! The first roller coaster at sea!!! The BOLT!! I did it!! FANTASTIC!! The ship has something for everyone!

To us, it was just eh. Nothing really special for a new ship. Same food, same small venues.

Took time to get used to layout as the ship is massive, but we had a blast and were thrilled to get back to cruising.

Enjoyed the new Mardi Gras, loved the layouts and restaurants. Serenity was fantastic. Bathroom was really small in our balcony room. Arrive early for Center stage entertainment, filled up fast.

It was a GREAT SHIP and all of the workers were on the job taking care of your every need

Love this ship and definitely will book her again. The ports of call are limited due to her size and many ports are still restricted due to COVID.

So happy to be cruising after 24 months and Mardi Gras did not disappoint. Ready to go again.

Too small for full capacity. We sailed at 70 percent and pools and other venues were very crowded. There is no decor, not even Mardi Gras beads anywhere. I expected to see Mardi Gras decor, but nothing. MDR had carpet from '70s with harvest gold and avocado green bubbles, '50s turquoise curtains and 2000s navy blue chairs. You have to download the Hub app and everything is on that. It's your menus, it's your acct. info, it's your entertainment guide...if you don't like having to carry your cell phone with you everywhere, you won't be happy. I suggest trying the other restaurants besides the MDR. The Italian is very good as well as Pig and Anchor and Chibang. Pizza is the only 24 hour food besides ice cream. Of course Guy's Burger Joint shouldn't be missed. This was my 45th cruise and I really was not that impressed with the ship. The shows were excellent as well as the bands around the ship. The comedians were okay to excellent; we had six different ones and Spike Davis was the best and funniest. Our cabin was extremely small as well as the bathroom. You have to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper. I'm not a big girl, but it was hard for me in that bathroom! It's one of those ships you'll have to try for yourself and form your own opinion.

Overall our experience was an A. We are looking forward to future cruises with Carnival.

had a great time over all. enjoyed the ship and places we went . didn't let small things mess up are much needed cruise after all this covid mess.

Would have loved to see more people under 55, but I love all people & it was amazing!

Good cruise but not much to do during the day onboard. Shopping onboard was disappointing. Small stores , limited selection . Dessert selection poor especially for anyone with nut allergies . Spa staff pushy trying to sell you products after your service .
