To us, it was just eh. Nothing really special for a new ship. Same food, same small venues.

Dining room food quality seems to have decreased. ChiBang was a HUGE disappointment to our group of 4. Portions extremely small, flavors didnt quite blend well. Service was fine but food wasnt. Cucina was terrific as was Emerils. Dont know how but Guys burgers were terrible and the fries also we chanfed to bad. Shaqs was ok but not much different from any other chicken fast food restaurants.

Many hours with NO activities. Trivia a lot but what about those that do not participate? Im still not a fan of paying customers being the entertainment .
Entertainment

Atrium band was good but hud the water view too often. Some of the singers were good but other just screamed sang. Slaughtered some classic rock songs to the point if having to leave. Never went to other shows. The only bright light of the cruise was the Backyard band. They were musically terrific and did justice to the songs they played. Venues were too small for their shows.

also very narrow.
Ship tip
Dont pick a dining time if you want to try the specialty restaurants unless you can have dinner after 8. You cannot book earlier times if you have a dining time.
Agree on some, some areas were really small for such a huge ship. We were thinking we were happy to sail when it was only 60% because at full capacity that is not going to be a good ship. Some areas were really crowded with just 60% full.
There's no way you gonna tell me that brand new ship basic.. If you read carnival covid rules. You would read there's no early boarding.. you do know it's still covid and the rooms take time for extra cleaning for the next sail..
Appreciate your feedback. Can’t blame the Mardi Gras for no early boarding perks, sadly this is fleet wide. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of the ship not living up to the hype.
