#1-Buy air tags for your checked luggage. They were a life saver. Otherwise would have no fresh clothes for 3 days, We enjoy Princess. Food is good, service is usually excellent, and the staff is friendly. The ship was well maintained and had a great gym. Excursions were great. For this Alaska cruise make sure your clothes adjust from 40° to 80° F

We stayed on a pre-departure hotel called the Captain Cook, and took a train from Anchorage to the cruise port. The train was great, and the hotel food and accommodations were also great. What made it a scary experience is my luggage was accidently left at the hotel (thanks to Air tags I could track it). Luckily I got a great princess Guest services officer who got my luggage to the ship right before we left port. Crisis averted.

Food and Dining

Food was great. I bought the beverage package and various bars on the ship ran out of my bourbon (Woodford, and not because of my consumption levels:)) two days into the 7 day cruise. By the time I left the ship only one bottle was at one bar.
Onboard Activities

Service and Staff

Cabin steward was fantastic. This was my 13th princess voyage and he was the best (Joseph from the Philippines) Always had ice and extra towels, and was proactive with any needs we had. Even ran down a dining person to get missing silverware.... and I didn't ask.

Clean and well maintained. Didn't like motion light by bathroom as too bright at night. They disabled it. We always bring a nite light for the bathroom.
