Had a great time on our land and cruise tour of Alaska. Great weather in Fairbanks and Denali before the cruise. Our only bad experience was testing positive for Covid the day after we returned home even though we wore our masks on the ship and other transportation. We had very mild symptoms…still glad we made the trip and had an awesome time.

Food and Dining

Buffet was great for breakfast. Loved that we were served our food instead of sharing serving utensils with other passengers. Ate in the main dining rooms every night except for 1 night in the Crown Grill. All meals were great. Loved the desserts!
Onboard Activities

We went to a few of the shows in the Princess Theatre and they were ok. We sat by the outside pool and watched the outdoor movie since the weather in Alaska for us was great.

Service and Staff

Service was outstanding. The crew seemed happy to be back to work and went above and beyond to serve and help out passengers and keep the ship clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was perfect for the 2 of us…lots of storage and closet space. We originally had a regular balcony room on Deck 9 but Princess changed our room to an aft facing balcony on deck 17 and the balcony was huge. We loved it!
Ketchikan was very crowded with 5 ships in port. Since we had been to Ketchikan a few years ago we just walked to Creek Street then went back to the ship to sit by the pool since it was sunny and 70 degrees.
Did a hop on hop off tour. Walked around Stanley Park, had a great lunch at Steam Works Brewery and then walked around the waterfront area. Beautiful city. Our only rainy day on our land and cruise tour to Alaska
Quick walk off with our luggage at 9:30. We stored our luggage for the day at the cruise port since our flight home wasn’t until 11pm and had a great tour of Vancouver before flying home.
