The schedule itinerary of the cruise resulted in five sea days. A better routing could have eliminated 1-2 of them. Princess needs to audit the excursions they are offering and make sure the product description on their website is accurate and complete.

All were polite and attentive except for one woman in the Excursions group. She was short tempered and disorganized in her job execution.

On arrival, bathroom smelled of stale urine. Two special cleanings fixed the problem. Comfortable bed
Ship tip
Make sure you explore the ship to find all of the things that are provided in the cruise.
Three hour round trip bus ride on freeways and through housing suburbs for a 3.7 mile, 18 minute train ride with no view other than trees. Train itself was interesting but trip should have been longer. Marginal snack included.
Excellent (A++) tour from Milford Sound to Queensland then to Dunedin. Very interesting, varied experiences, great food, nice overnight hotel, beautiful lakes and streams.
Terrible excursion (F-) tied to Lord of the Rings movie filming. An undisclosed round trip 7.5 hour bus ride through flat pasture land to see a small hill with a pile of rocks in a flat glacial plain. Everything involved with the movie had been removed. Inedible lunch included. Fairly expensive as well.
We love sea days. We would be happy to have 14 and not get off the ship. IMO if you don’t like sea days, one might wonder why you choose to cruise instead of flying
Ah, there's your ship. 😉 make sure you tell Princess about your negative tour when you fill out the end of cruise survey. I'm going to the thermal/volcanic springs . . so far they are well reported on. 🤞
