Review summary
We went on HAL Maasdam to the southern Caribbean. The seas were a bit rough but the ship was really stable through out the trip. The food was great, the staff totally accommodating, the ship was always clean and the shore excursions were all what they were advertised. We did miss one port because of the high winds but our captain fully explained the problem. No one that I spoke to groused about this because of his explanation. We saw dolphins, flying fish, rays, turtles and whales. Ports were full of photo ops galore.Ports of call
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Pros: Ship activities, the food and the shore excursions
Cons: TV stations even with satellite had problems
