Always take advantage of and use your pre-cruise planner. DO schedule specialty dining, expecially at Portofinos. You will NOT regret it! Research and book excursions in advance. Do use pre-paid gratuities and I highly recommend the drink packages. Makes everything easy and no surprises later

First time we've felt like there really were 5,000 people on board. Although Liberty is a large ship, there are times when you know there are lots of others with you.

since you changed the tipping where the tips are added to our credit cards, service is not as good as it used to be. they catered a lot more to your needs. The waiters and cabin help worked for the tips. I've been cruising since 1981 ( 31 ) cruises it has really changed.

Eat at Chops--it is worth the $30. Best steak I ever had

If you don't want to reek of smoke, avoid the casino. If you don't like the main dining rooms' menu, consider eating in the Windjammer Café. The evening selections are very good.

The Portofino Restaurant is excellent and worth the small extra charge if you want a little more privacy and awesome food. Also, the dining staff let us change tables when we were initially seated at a table with a very obnoxious lady. Our dining experience was awesome after that change. Nice circular style showers in the cabin bath. Plenty of room and all-around nice quality appointments throughout the stateroom. Take advantage of the sauna. It is an awesome way to sweat out yesterday's extra calories and it was almost unused. I felt like I had my own personal locker room! If you want a quality cruise with tons of VALUE, the Liberty of the Seas is the way to go. No, they didn't pay me to say that, I just know a good deal and this cruise was just all that.
