Review summary

The Legend cruise was quite an experience. There were many activities and our cruise director ,Keith Williams, was a very exciting and energetic character who always made you feel special.

The food was gourmet and very delicious.

Please be aware that the ship started off with the scare of the norovirus, but with the cooperation of the staff and passengers, we were soon clear of the issue.

Ship Quality

Staff made sure ship was kept clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

One king size bed was very close to the wall and made it hard to get on the side of the bed. We would have loved a small refrigerator for drinks at night.

Ship tip

Sleeping in some days and missing breakfast, but enjoying a sit down lunch was a nice change. (especially when you are at sea some days.)

It was good to know that the norovirus was not an issue on your cruise.  I have been on ships where the norovirus was present on the previous cruise but was a non issue for ours.  It is always a concern when cruising but so far after 50 I have not been sick with it.

I sail with HAL and on the ms Amsterdam there are no mini fridges in most staterooms except for suites.  It is a big problem on longer cruises.
