Review summary

We had a great time, even though we had been to a lot of the stops we just visited other sights we missed last time! We love the Greek Islands! The one “eye sore” and disappointment was The abundant of shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops being worn on formal(dress your best) nights in the dining room. I brought two suits to have for these nights only to have the gentlemen seated at the table next to ours in a sweatsuit! Yes, a cotton sweatsuit Come on RC, you need to stop this. Also, I saw two gentlemen wearing shorts. One had his flip flops on. The dress code needs to be enforced! If you are going to allow sweatsuits and shorts on formal evenings why have a formal evening. Let the passengers wear what they want. It sure looked that way on this cruise. I realize many passengers like to dress down on vacation and I agree. A pair of slacks and polo shirt is fine for going to dinner. I wear a suit everyday, so on vacation I too like to go casual. But, if you have a policy in which it states no shorts, flip flops, etc in the dining room, please stick to it.

This was our 3rd cruise with RC and we were not disappointed at all. The staff was terrific!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Our bathroom had paint peeling in the shower and the balcony was not as clean as it should have been. But, overall for an older ship it was okay.

Mykonos, Greece

Second time visiting Mykonos. We rented a car and explored the non-tourist side of the island. Also, visited a private beach. Very private! There was a total of seven sunbathers at the beach.

A beautiful island!

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Rented a van with driver for the entire day. Michael showed us so much more than we would have been able to if we chose to go it alone. First time at the old Olympic stadium! What an experience. Took 2.5 hours to walk around. One of my cruise highlights!

Naples, Italy

Took a ferry to Sorrento! Beautiful city!

Disembarkation

One of the quickest we have ever had! RC should get 6 stars for this one!!
