We chose this cruise for the ports and they did not disappoint. We were a little disappointed in the food and the entertainment as we had much higher expectations. In all, we would do it again!

We purchased The Key so had prioritiy boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Giovanni's Table was the best meal and service we had on board. Our main dining room tablemates were fantastic as was our waiter Cherisa but I got a little bored with the food. Breakfast especially was the same every. single. day. The Windjammer buffet was typical buffet food, nothing special. Main dining room was better but several repeats.
Giovanni's Table

Far and away the best meal and the best service we had the whole cruise. We should have eaten there more. 5 stars!
Chops Grille
4 out of 5
Good food but our service was slow and lacking attention.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We took advantage of the pool and mini-golf. Nothing special as this is an older ship but we enjoyed the ship.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Know that a Mediterranean cruise is a bit different. 40% of our ship did not speak English so they relied on acrobatics, juggling, music and other non-language events. There were no plays or comedians etc.
Library
2 out of 5
Don't bother. It's basically a hall way on the way to a bar so it's not a quiet retreat and the book selection is limited and poor.
Service and Staff

Fantastic service all around.
Ship Quality

This is an older ship but well maintained. We were shocked at how much storage space our stateroom had.

Our port hole was larger than expected and we were stunned at how much storage space our room had. I thought the shower would be tiny but it was large enough to turn around without touching the walls.
We didn't do anything here but spend the night before our cruise. We didn't see any sights. We walked to our cruise port shuttle station and it was a little hard to find.
This was my favorite port. I enjoyed wondering through this town. My friend went to Delos and loved it but I just stayed in the main port city and explored.
We ended up taking a taxi tour and no regrets! He took us places we would not have seen on our own on foot. The town was interesting and we enjoyed it a lot.
I was a little disappointed in this port. I expected more blue and white but there really was only what you've seen in pictures. Neither Oia or Fira has a lot to do in it. We took a boat to Oia first and then a bus back to Fira. Waited 45 min in line to get down the cable car. Plan for a lot of time waiting in line unless you want to take the donkey stairs.
This is a huge bustling city. We took the hop on-hop off bus and it was a great way for us to get around to the places we wanted to see. The Acropolis is a climb!
We didn't see Naples but instead took an excursion to Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. Our guide was enjoyable although we didn't get much time at any place. We could not have done this on our own however. There is a ton to see and do in this port. We could have spent a couple more days here.
You really had a spectacular cruise as your first. I don't think that most first cruisers go that far first! You are truly lucky!I am so happy for you!
