San Juan was very enjoyable to explore before the cruise. Getting on and off the ship is very easy quick and pain-free. The buffet was great for breakfast and average for dinner time one time we went. The rest of the night went to the main dining hall. Overall the food was extremely good. There were a few dishes That are either poorly cooked Or We’re not to Oit taste. But it was very easy to get something else instead. The entertainment in the theater was lackluster. Not the performers fault, just pour/dumb storyline. Stand up comedians were good from what everyone said, but we were paying attention and missed them.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining room had great severive 90% of the time. Food was great 80%, luckily if you got something you didn like, it was easy to switch out for something else.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The standard stuff. Wish there was less paid activity and more of it free. Example wanted to play bingo, but not for 50$ a person... how about do some games with minimal/cheap prizes more for the fun of it.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The live music in the main areas was great. Skipped the theatre shows after first one. The singers and dancers were great, but they were given such stupid material to perform I was almost embarrassed for them. Musical review needs to be redone with better plot/script/ etc.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Overall great. Had one horrible waiter and the staff reached out afterwards apologizing and offered a feee tour of the kitchen the next day to make up for it
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Bus boys/people to clear/clean tables needed to be greater. Most of the windjammer tables were still dirty and left in bussed for too long.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Average but very clean. Exactly what planed for.
Ship tip
Windjammer our back has a nice outdoor sitting area that almost no one uses at night. Great area to relax
