Review summary

Loved every thing about it! Nothing bad to say! It was a great time! Getting around the ship was a breeze. The drinks were top shelf and the drink plan worked for me- I would have double espressos in the morning and Grand Marniers in the evening, with Patron Margaritas during the day. Wine with dinner off an extensive wine listing.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No more than 10 minutes-line moved fast and there were plenty of staff

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Ate in the main dining room every night-food selection choices were plentiful and the food was excellent. No need to pay extra for the specialty dining!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many choices! Chose the pool as our "go to" activity. Plenty of lounges-never felt crowded.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some great shows and some not so great!

Children's Programs

adults only in our party.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly. The waiters at the pool were great-The restaurant staff was fantastic. The house keeping staff were great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Immaculate-great layout

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of space. Couch to sit on. Chairs and table on the balcony. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Two US 110 volt outlets on the dresser/desk for charging.

Ship tip

Don't bother with the specialty dining-the food was excellent in the main dining room. You could always order a steak off the menu if you didn't like one of the seven or so offers every night.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy Did not visit port

just embarkation and dis embarkation

Souda (Chania), Crete

2 out of 5
Signed up for a tour-went to a cemetary, then to a gravesite of a local politician which had a view and then to a monastery-waste of time

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
Went to Delos in the morning and returned to "Little Venice" for lunch on the water.

Rhodes, Greece

5 out of 5
Strolled around and shopped and ate in the walled city

Santorini, Greece

5 out of 5
Took the cable car up to Fira and then did the walk to Oia-took about 3 hours-nothing was open on the way. Views were spectacular! Took the bus back to Fira and then walked down the stairs to the tender. Just a note-when they talk about the 600 stairs, they don't mention that each stair is about 8' long! Took about 25 minutes.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

5 out of 5
Hired a taxi driver for 160 Euro to take the four of us to all the sites-he waited for us and let us visit each site as long as we wanted- way better than a tour!

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
Took a tour that brought us to Sorrento and then took a motor launch along the coast to Amalfi where we shopped and ate and then returned by launch to Sorrento and then on to Pompei-long day! Our guide was Luigi- he was excellent.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We had to wait awhile for our transfer bus to arrive. When we exited the building, they directed us to the right, but our bus was parked to the left-luckily we saw the transfer agent walking around with the sign.
