Review summary

The crew and islands on our 7 day Southern Carib cruise was great. Ship was not...older and not updated. Needed an extension cord to run from tv area to bed for CPAP machine as no plugs by bed. Location of room was great, very back of ship, but the rooms looked worn. Couch was tatters looking and just needed updating. Bed was rock hard.

We have sailed on Oasis and Quantum and prefer the larger, updated ships. Even Chops and Giovanni's did not seem as nice on the Jewel. The food was great, as was the staff, but something is missing..oh, I know what it is. The soda machine was broken most of the trip and only located in back of Windjammer. We had to request a full refund for our soda card. Rip off. Put more machines throughout the ship and don't lock the doors so we can't access the products. Not everyone like coke from the bar. Entertainment was also lacking...no more small, molder ships for us

need to be updated..no outlets by the bed for medical machine

Ship tip

Don't buy soda card...two broken machines at back of Windjammer. WIndjammer closes all the time and you can't get soda if you want something other than coke from the bar.
