Review summary

Was a fun cruise.  My first time to Dominica & Grenada - WOW!!  These 2 were amazing and I must go back.  Went snorkeling at both.  The lobster included in our Grenada excursion was the best I've had!!  The Jewel of the Seas is a beautiful ship.  It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles the larger ones have, but is so easy to get around and not have to take such long hikes to get anywhere on the ship.  Loved it!

Beautiful, large cabin with large, rear facing balcony. Was excellent! The only drawback is that it is way down at the end of the hall, so not easy to zip back to your cabin for something, but still loved it!

Ship tip

Be sure to check out the dining area in the back of the Windjammer through the double doors. It's outside and is beautiful and usually less crowded.

Did excursion to Orient Beach (not the nude part) and it was beautiful!

Champagne snorkeling was amazing. The geological conditions cause these bubbles in the water like you are snorkeling in warm champagne... with lots of fish!

St. George's, Grenada

Snorkel with the underwater statues. Very interesting... and get a local grilled lobster!
