This was the first cruise for my wife and I.  We really enjoyed our vacation on the Jewell.

We had great service from all of the employees and enjoyed the food at the Tides dinning room

the Windjammer buffet.  The entertainment was good and there were plenty of things to do

on the ship and on shore excursions.

Overall, it was a very good experience and we would recommend the Jewell for those looking

for a nice vacation.

Food and Dining

We enjoyed the food, but we are not connoisseurs by any stretch of the imagination.

Onboard Activities

Lots of stuff to do.

Entertainment

We enjoyed most of the shows and the entertainment around the ship.

Service and Staff

Our room attendant Ronnie did a nice job. The nights we dinned in the Tides, our servers were very attentive.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It is beginning to show some wear and tear. TV's need to be upgraded to flat screens. It would be good to have wi-fi on the boat at no charge.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was very nice considering the size. Having a balcony made the trip.

Ship Tip

If you like to drink a lot, a beverage package may be something to consider. The cost of a beer is around $6.00, a mixed drink $7.00, and a glass of wine $7.00. FYI: gratuity's are added on for any purchases you make at the bar.
