Review summary

We decided to celebrate coming into our 40s by going on a 7 day Caribbean Cruise and we're glad we did! Jewel of the Seas was perfect for us, we were able to take in San Juan and all of the many ports we visited. Some of our memories include: Al our room Stewart always there when we needed him for our every need. Thanks Al! Our dining rooms experiences with Farhad and Putu waiting on us hand and foot! There was always more on the table than we should have eaten, they went above and beyond, and remembered what each of us wanted! And we can't forget Noel who started our dining room experience and still checked on us throughout the week, do it, do it! Adding to our memories was the Jamaican waiter who serenaded us with his beautiful voice at dinner in the dining room and at breakfast in the Windjammer ! We throughly enjoyed the Specialty restaurants, Chopped and Portofinos and their 1st class service. We would definitely recommend this cruise.

Ship Quality

It was an older boat but it wasn't bad

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Suggestion: If you are travelling with a group of adults you may want to have no more than two (2) to a cabin as the "third bed" gets in the way of getting to the bathroom and the cabin door. This setup may work better for a family with small children.

Ship tip

Try and do as much as you can onboard as the time goes fast!
