Sail Date: March 28, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Mahogany wood, shining brass, overall decor fabulous. Pool great.Wonderfull variety of music, games, food. Staff so accomodating. Everything ran smoothly. I was so surprised at the cleanliness of the ship and so many staff members to go to for help if needed. LOVED this ship!!!

Pros: Staff, food, cleanliness

Cons: excursions . Too far to major cities. Guides need flags. Difficulty in following guides.

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Just the rt. size ship for us. Dont think I would like the mega ships. Felt like family on this cruise
Food and Dining
The Windjammer had such a variety of food. Cant think of anything you could want for.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
So enjoyed the violin player before dinner. Sitting down for a predinner drink and fine music prior to dinner was heavenly
George Town, Grand Cayman
More informaton was needed on the three or four areas to go to for the beach.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Eagle beach so winding , sand blowing in face. No place to go to bathroom. Did not like
Don't Miss: Not enough time to see much
Cartagena, Colombia
Spanish inquisition site intersting. OLd city beautiful but so many tourists it was hard to follow out guide, If he had had a yellow or rd flag sticking up in air it would have been so much better. Heat of 95degress and humidity 75% was difficult for me to do so much walking.
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
Loved the kayaking trip though the alligators, caymens and crockadiles were waiting for me should we have capsized but felt safe in kayak.
