Review summary

Overall, a great cruise. As previous Royal Caribbean cruisers, however, it is apparent that the company is implementing more and more cost saving measures and paying less attention to the small details. The food was good, not great. The entertainment was fair, and geared mostly to an older crowd. The ship itself was clean, beautiful, and fun to explore. The best part about the cruise was the itinerary.

Beaches and shopping.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

Dont waste your time in the city. Go see the rainforest or do something adventurous like white water rafting or zip lining.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Lots of beaches and good shopping

Cartagena, Colombia

3 out of 5
Skip the ship-sponsored tours and get on a bus offered by one of the tour guides at the port. A beautiful city with a lot of history. Dont be intimidated by the street vendors, ignore them with a forceful "no gracias" and they will move on.

Colon, Panama

5 out of 5
Go see the Miraflores Locks (also includes a museum and a movie on the history of the canal), then venture into Panama City for lunch (only an hour from the port). Skip the city of Colon.
