Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Breakfast choices too numerous to try. We had room service breakfast on our Balconey a couple of times, great choice for complimentary but pay extra for cooked. Missed lunch most days but went for tea and cakes at 3pm some days Both in the wind Jammer where choice and staff both fantastic. Diner was a highlight for us each day in the main dining room where choice and staff again fantastic with and more than enough in portions but you can always request the same again or two or more different mains, deserts or starters.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Such a lot to choose from but with little time to get from one event to the next you have to plan carefully.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All performs excellent apart from the American Comedian. Just did not get his humour.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff brilliant, only had one bad experience when the Catering Manager tried being clever and funny but wasn't.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Terrific ship, clean well maintained. Only Criticism is the rest rooms, plentiful and clean but the male version lacked space and urinals with some only having one!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Compact but well laid out and clean. Huge bed and plenty of storage. Slept well in comfy conditions. Lovely Balconey, great view of ports when arriving or leaving.

Ship tip

Don't wear plastic stilettos on the Royal Promenade. The floor is highly polished and a hazard to ladies in high heels. Always walk accompanied or go through the Casino one deck down.
