Review summary

We had a wonderful time. This was our first cruise, and it was special. We made a lot of new friends, had a lot of fun, and explored new places. Royal carribean did us proud.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was easy. Took our cases as soon as we got out the taxi. Polite and helpful staff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food on board was excellent. The main dining room waiters really looked after us. The windjammer had plenty of selection too. No one can go hungry on here.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The ship has loads, from crazy golf, to laser tag, flumes, wave rider, climbing wall. And not forgetting the pools...

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the entertainment. Some good bands on board, then theres the theatre, ice shows and we had the halloween parade. Also quizzes and games to play. I particularly liked the reggae band. Very carribean...

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Seemed lots to do for kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Royal carribean staff were wonderful. I couldn't fault them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotlessly clean and well designed. Our cabin was cleaned twice a day by the lovely Natalee, and left with towel animals on the bed. She even made pinacolinda a towel birthday cake. Wherever you went on indy, you will see someone cleaning..

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was spacious and very clean. Plenty of space for storage. We had a balcony and it was nice to sit and watch the sunset.

Ship tip

To enjoy the experience, and to try everything. From the restaurants, to the shows. There is so much to do.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

An amazing place. The locals were friendly, the place was spotlessly clean, lovely beaches and beautiful sea. We done the zip line over the sea. Amazing place.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Beaches were nice. Not the cleanest of places, but very friendly. You can still see the damage from the hurricane. Watching the planes at maho beach was good.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Disembarked here. Didnt do excursions, as we went on to orlando. Didnt have any problems leaving indy. We left at 7.15 and was on our bus by 7.30. Staff were friendly and helpful..

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Was looking forward to umbrella street, only to find it closed off. Disappointing, but we did find the bar where the pina colada was invented. They were wonderful....
