Review summary

We met on the Independence of the Seas 7 years ago. We just love it. Everyone is so friendly and it just feels like home! Absolutely gutted that she is leaving Southampton in November and being replaced by Anthem! We are going on her on the transatlantic journey then and looking forward to it!!

Okay. However our diamond privileges have been reduced and we queue up with everyone else! Not a problem but we used to have priority!

We used the main dining room for 11 of our 14 nights. Rex and Semuel were excellent and we had a ball every night. Food was very good on the whole!!

What we saw were excellent. Ice shows and grease the musical were brilliant as usual.

Room steward was very efficient. Restaurant staff great and all the staff in the diamond lounge were very efficient and good fun!!

After a great refit the ship is looking great and kept very clean and tidy!!

Good size. At the back of the ship so balcony a bit bigger.
