Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main Dining room food fab the staff were fantastic and can't do enough for you, we had dinner in Chops Grille but would rather have gone to the main dining room not worth the extra money. Windjammer lots of choice and the fruit crumbles are amazing!!! We had Johnny Rockets one night and loved it and worth paying the extra little bit of money.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Went on the sky pad that was good, it only lasts for about 4 minutes, which I can see would be long enough for some people especially with the VR headset on.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Love the shows in the theatre, also the promenade parties they are fab, brilliant atmosphere. Comedians are ok, hypnotist was hilarious from start to finish, Grease was fab the staff work so hard and they are a credit to RCL.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service was great, the waiting staff in the main dining room were absolutely brilliant especially Stefan and Dimitri, couldn't fault them at all, they can't do enough for you and were always happy, I am a fussy eater and they always gave me the next days menu to look at after our evening meals, so if there was nothing I liked they prepared something that I did like, brilliant Our room steward 'Iputu on deck 6 was lovely and friendly always chatted and must have watched us go out as every time we went back to our room it was clean and tidy, not that it was very untidy, beds were always made.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Love the layout of Independance I like the promenade with all the shops, bars, cafes on one level.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Inside cabin sleeps 2 comfortably and there is enough room to manoeuvre, depends what your used to, the rooms are always clean. I think this is a good cabin, no noise from above or below.

Ship tip

Don't bother taking towels as you can hire them for the sunbeds and around the pool.

We walked round and saw some nice sights, went to Las Rambles had a wander round saw the cable cars, be careful especially if you have ruck sacks make sure you put them on your front as we nearly got robbed by 2 women until a Spanish man started shouting at them as 1 had a hand in my friends bag.
