I won't and will never take cruise from royal Caribbean again when compared to my previous cruise trips. You, select a cruise other than Royal Caribbean because all their ships should have the same issues those I mentioned above.

Do it and go into without bias and just have fun. You’re on a big ship with tons of people. Be polite and happy and you’ll have a fantastic trip.

If you are introverted or looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.. then this might not be the ship for you.

Off the Solarium, there are two areas at the very front of the ship where it’s dark enough for your eyes to adjust to see stars. It’s very quiet and serene adults only area.

It is a big ship and there are A LOT of people on board. Bring your patience with you. There’s a lot of different cultures on board as well. What’s appropriate for some is rude for others. Even though there seems like a lot of lines and lots of people things move pretty quickly. If you can’t get on one elevator, you’ll probably be able to get on the next one. If there’s a line at one of the shops, it usually only took 10 min at most to get to the end of it. While you’re waiting, strike up a conversation with someone next to you. Most cruisers are super nice and fun to talk to. The forward elevators are usually less busy than the aft elevators. If you’re getting out of a show, walk through the ship to the other end and catch an elevator there instead of trying to squish in with the 100+ people getting out of the theater at one time. Also, for the really busy decks like 5 and 6, sometimes it’s easier to walk down one or two decks and then catch the elevator going up.

This is not the ship for you if you want a quiet and relaxing cruise. There is no adult-only pool. There will be kids everywhere, and most will not be supervised. If you want a kid-centered cruise/vacation, this is for you.

Extremely slow elevators. Be prepared to stop at every floor. Choose traditional dining, "my time" is not necessarily "your time". Johnny Rockets is a good alternative to the regular breakfast.

Make reservations for main dining room and shows (if possible), but, honestly, the 'no reservations' lines weren't that bad

The Solarium Bistro is a hidden gem! We ate hear often and it was open for every meal and there was not a line.

Be patient with elevators especially on disembarking and dining times. Use the elevators at the front as much as you can.
