Celebrated a 75th birthday for a fellow cruiser with 55 of our friends and family. We had many private events onboard, so we stayed busy. All events went well except for the group dinner planned on the day of the birthday. Shoreside concierge did not pass the information to the ship for this event planned for 6:45pm on that day. They were able to accommodate the group on the same day, but at 8:45pm....because of the confusion, the ship provided 10 bottles of champagne for the celebration.
Embarkation

We were directed to general boarding even though we were suite guests, however check in was quick and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Not much flair anymore. Some dishes were heavy with salt. Disappointed with use of frozen (peas) and canned (corn) vegetables rather than fresh. First time doing "My Time" dining...yes, it was "my time" as long as your time was 5pm, or 7:30pm...same as traditional dining
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Only had time for a few trivia sessions. Many other family activities kept us busy.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Broadway show Grease was very well done. Aqua and Ice show were entertaining. Columbus, the musical was very unusual..do not need to see it again.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone helpful and friendly. Always tried to correct issues.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We were on the Harmony's second sailing many years ago, this was our first return and the ship still looked almost brand new. One of the jumbo screens at the aqua theater was not working, and did not take away from the performance. Hot tubs need to be refinished, some paint in the tubs worn down to base.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very nice space for a jr suite. Balcony door a little hard to open. Balcony loungers did not recline, they were set to a medium recline, somewhat inconvienient. Tub/shower very nice, alwsys hot water.
Ship tip
Extremely slow elevators. Be prepared to stop at every floor. Choose traditional dining, "my time" is not necessarily "your time". Johnny Rockets is a good alternative to the regular breakfast.
Went on our own to Buccanos beach club. Uncrowded, quiet, small beach, pool, loungers and some pretty good food. Cost $22 to get in, but you get a $22 food and drink voucher toward your purchases...so therefore free. Employees extremely friendly. Snorkel and mask rental for $10, lots of fish with very clear water.
We did ship segway tour for the second time. Enjoyed the guides and the ride. The beach break portion of the tour could be skipped, beach was not that great.
