Galveston was an easy process and not overly crowded. Well organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Windjammer was great. As with previous sailing experiences, they had a lot to offer. It’s a buffet style so keep that in mind. The new wash area was great. “Washy washy before yummy yummy” always kept us smiling.

Chops Grille

Fantastic food. Rajib was an amazing server who catered to our every request. The Wild mushroom soup was very delicious, as well as, the battered shrimp and crab cakes.

Jamie's Italian by Jamie Oliver

5 out of 5

Rajib helped us get this reservation and the staff were so attentive and informative regarding our food request. We had a large group of 10 celebrating graduations, a birthday, and an engagement. They went above and beyond to make us feel special.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We stayed busy. Lots to do.

Entertainment

Grease was awesome! The comedy show was hilarious but remember it’s definitely not kid appropriate. My only concern was how loud the performance would get on the Promenade for special nights. It can be a little loud but still a blast.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff constantly. Rajib was our absolute favorite! His customer service skill were top notch and his approach was friendly and not pushy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall, they were constantly cleaning. We felt they did their best to keep things clean and fresh.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was clean and comfortable the only concern was very early morning would be pretty loud with banging and noise. We realized that this was due to the fact we were right below the pool deck and there was maintenance and cleaning. So next time we might consider a different floor. Other than that, it was great. Nice balcony over looking Central Park.

Ship tip

Do it and go into without bias and just have fun. You’re on a big ship with tons of people. Be polite and happy and you’ll have a fantastic trip.

Loved the private island excursion. Absolutely, beautiful snorkeling. Food was great too.

Galveston, Texas

Easy and clean port. We stayed at a local AirBnB which was wonderful!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Always love Costa Maya for the ruins. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his culture.

Disembarkation

Very easy, we did self assist. Only thing is to remember the elevator use during this time can be lengthy so plan ahead if you’re doing a self-assist with your luggage. Otherwise, we took stairs most of the vacation for exercise.
