The ship is due for dry dock in the spring. I think it needs some updates. The ship was full and tables at lunch and breakfast in the Windjammer were difficult to find.

For a 20 year old ship you will be really impressed with the upgrades and what it had to offer considering it's a smaller older vessel ... with that said, you can tell it was designed 20 years ago, and there isn't a ton to do if you're under 50 or over 15...

Debark for people who needed wheelchairs was disorganized. People came and sat in order but as they were taken to elevator additional people arrived and took those seats. Should have sign in as get to gathering area or given a number in order so the staff can take off ship in order.

It was very easy to get on and off from the islands. No wait time. But don't lose your sea pass that's everything!!! Would like to see more options for restaurants. We ate @ Chops grill twice but had to pay. Most nights ate @ Gatsby. Romar and Fidel were excellent! Romar has been c RCI for 20yrs!

Make sure you book excursions if you want to stay busy because there isn't a whole lot to do on the ship

#1. Rum Runners. Get the non-alcoholic drink package and mix your own and save significant $$! Also 2 free bottles of wine U can bring! #2. Don't get there too early on departure day. You cannot access your cabin until 1pm at the earliest. #3. Bring a power cord to all of your chargeables.

When you are shopping on the ship and you see something special that you want to buy, buy it right away especially if it is part of a special sale because you might not get it later.

Don't trust the port at Baltimore. We arrived back and our car wouldn't start. We called AAA and they sent someone in about 2 hours to check it out. They said the battery was dead so they replaced, no luck. Had to have it towed...we found out someone had drained our gas out at the parking lot.

Ship is dated but I really liked the cosiness of the smaller ships, staff is friendlier on these smaller ships. Easy to get around and off and on.

From the moment we stepped foot on the boot we were hit to purchase an upgrade. Whether that be a meal or a massage package it just became to much. The Japanese restaurant employees were very aggressive. Always walking through the Windjammer trying to entice you to an uncharged meal.

We like the size of the Grandeur of the Seas. We're not sure we would like the mega ships as well! it is a friendly and caring atmosphere away from Home!

Beautiful old ship well maintained. Service exceptional. But food presentation, variety, quality and taste was poor. Specialty restaurants Giovanni's and Chops Grill were excellent.

For example: Beautiful ship and beautiful trip destinations! One suggestion to the store, please put one more layer protection for glass bottles. I bought few bottles of liquor, and one of them was broken before I arrived home. other than this, everything was excellent, a wonderful trip!
