Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was getting off at the different ports and exploring.the crew was also very friendly The food wasn't all that great and most of the time was room temperature, not hot...also I was very disappointed that due to delay because of a lifeboat falling, the excursions for the next day were cancelled. Part of the reason I went on this cruise was to get to go to sea world in Orlando but unfortunately I never made it there because of this delay... I wouldnt recommend this boat ( grandeur of the seas) because there wasn't a lot to do, and dont know if I'd recommend royal Caribbean in general because of the disappointments I had.

I have been cruising since the 80's and the quality of food has definitely gone down hill. You still are getting a lot for your money. An ocean view hotel room in Ocean City can run over 400.00$ a night. I do miss the Midnight Buffett's.

wI1962, I say it because it is true! Did you actually try everything? C'mon now, I am sure the food was not bad. We have been on Grandeur more than once and never had a problem with the food. I guess I am just thankful that I am on a cruise, not very many people that I know can afford it. There are so many things to choose from that I am sure there must be something you enjoyed. Shame on you, I just bet you sat and looked for things to complain about, chair hogs, them nasty smokers, long lines, your feet not being massaged while you sat in the sun... please!!!!

I've been on grandeur 2x gonna be 3 in march and I love this ship. For me it's the perfect size and I thought the food was good. But to say I didn't like the ship cause of the food is strange. But also it is what you make it and I refuse to sit and pout while I'm on a vacation most people don't get to experience at least once in their lifetime.

Never been on Royal Caribbean so I can't vouch for the food. I just think cruising isn't for everyone. You either love it or you don't. If you love cruising you tend to overlook some of the negatives and enjoy it no matter what.

We love the Grandeur because it is laid back where bigger ships may have more options to keep you busy. Next time do a little research and you could pick a ship more to you liking. We thought the food and service was great too.

Why do people say at least you didn't have to cook when a ship serves less than very good food. We were on grandeur in dec and the food was not good. You may like lousy food if someone will cook it for you but I paid for good food. Good service and a great time and I think I have a right to expect rccl to deliver people saying it's better than work or at least you didn't cook it don't seem to get that it's supposed to be much much more. Look at their ads for what they promise. Do they deliver. More and more the answer is no

Sorry, but we have been on Grandeur 4 times, number 5 coming up in April, and we love it! Always had a great time, the crew is outstanding, the food was great. Things happen, and it sucks that you did not get to go to Sea World, but you should not slam the ship. Don't know why people complain about the food, geez, at least you did not have to cook. We were on Anthem a few months back and people complained about that ship! We loved it. Maybe you should hop on a plane and take a land vacation.
