Review summary

Great cruise!  Fantastic service, food, drinks and facilities

Disappointed in the Centrum shows, cigarette smoking at main pool and early risers "holding" chaises and not coming back for hours.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not quite enough activities if you weren't into Bingo and Casino.

Entertainment

shows in the Centrum were ridiculous - people stalked out an hour ahead of time to get seats. Shows were not worth that much advance commitment.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Ages 6 to 11 were group together - too large of a range. My 9 and 11 years olds had zero interest in playing 6 year old games...

Did not make it to this island due to engine issues.

It's definitely cooler, if I had to guess, once you get parallel to North Carolina, you should be fine.

Have you ever sailed out of Baltimore in late October early November. We sail out on October 31 for 12 day cruise... Wondering how long we will be in colder weather?

We have found that it's the adults that are guilty. Try finding chairs in the solarium! You're right about kids also. We sail before June 6 or 7 & after the end of Oct. to avoid as many kids as possible & the likelihood of hurricanes.

That's one of the upsides to a September cruise, less kids (although I've seen many adults that are just as guilty), but it does increase your odds on being able to find a chair, especially on the upper deck like Jiles said

Chair holding is always a problem everywhere we go whether it's a resort or cruise. Sure wish people were more considerate of others or there would be a 'chair patrol' that would rectify the situation. We usually go to the upper decks. There are plenty of chairs there & we don't care about being at a pool.
