We really enjoyed our experience on the ship. The staff were exceptional, all staff, dining, cabin, bar, leadership were present and willing to do anything to accommodate our needs. We ate breakfast every morning in the Crown Grill, The staff did everything for one of the best experiences we have had. I will book Suites for now on.

A half hour before sailing, we get a notice to come down to security. Apparently they thought they saw a power strip in my hub’s suitcase so we opened the suitcase up in front of the nice man, and went through everything. We all think it appeared hub’s razor cord and razor next to one another looked like a power cord with surge protection. We thanked him. We are laughing about this all now (and were sort of when it was happening). Ensenada was cool and San Francisco was chilly but clear during the day. Hubs and I took a long walk and then met our friends for lunch and then went to Ghirardelli Square. Upon returning to the port, I kept setting off the metal detector so the nice lady used the wand and we identified every metal item on my body. We all had fun with that, including the security agents. Ship time was spent with our friends, new friends, friends met on previous cruises and chatting with the crew, especially crew from our cruise last month.

We had a quick cruise but it felt as relaxing as a 7 day cruise! We would do this cruise again for sure! Loved that it was an 80s themed cruise too!

Fab attentive crew, clean tidy stateroom and comfy beds. Great food and entertainment also.

Really enjoyed this cruise. Would like more time in ports, other than Honolulu didn’t have time to do much after excursion.

The west coast itinerary was great. One of the most thrilling experiences was leaving and going under the Golden Gate Bridge. Don't know if it was the very windy day or the excitement of the beginning of the trip but it was UNFORGETTABLE! I forgot to mention that this cruise was over Halloween and on the 31st there were decorations and all of the staff dresses up at dinner. It was very cool. How much did I like this cruise? Well I have booked the same cruise for March 2020!

It was a great cruise extremely relaxing and fun. Didn’t want to get off the ship.

I have come to expect more than what Princess provided while cruising, especially for the price point.

We booked this trip because the embarkation/disembarkation port was close to home and we were interested in the itinerary. While we had fun on the cruise, the quality of the ship was very disappointing. I have come to expect more than what Princess provided while cruising, especially for the price point.

This was my best vacation ever! Alaska and SanFrancisco were terrific! It was my first time in both places, but it won't be my last. This review is way too long, and you can't save it and come back later. You need to allow the writer to do it in stages(unless they have a lot of free time).

Excellent family cruise! Loved how friendly all the staff was.I will only sail with Princess because every cruise with them has been a wonderful experience! I can't wait until our next cruise in November! The dining staff knew all of our names the first day. Speaking of the dining room, the food was amazing. There were so many choices each night it was hard to choose! They all looked delicious.

The best part of this cruise was the convenience.  We sailed round trip out of San Francisco.  Aside from that, the cruise itself was great!  It was our first cruise with Princess.  I heard that the crew wasn't as friendly as other cruise lines, but not so on the Grand Princess!  Most of the crew members were Filipino and they are super friendly and helpful and always with a smile.  We did run into some that weren't as friendly and a little snobby though.

We've sailed to Mexico many times, but this was our first where we really hung out with the locals which was great and had super cheap meals!

The ships entertainment was pretty good.  We only went to the Princess Theater shows once but watched many of the other entertainment on board.  They offered a free tour of one of their smaller galleys which was great!

We didn't purchase any pictures because they were so pricey just for one, but if you love taking pictures, they had a package for $199 to buy all of your pictures which is a super deal!

The food and service was 100%, no complaints there!  Our steward was so attentive and friendly!!

Our first visit to Manzanillo.  Go to the beach in the Club Santiago neighborhood, you won't be disappointed if you just want to relax under an umbrella drinking and eating.  The locals go here with their children.  It was wonderful!

Wonderful trip. The sites were beautiful the staff was great. The food in the buffet was good.

I had a great time. Just did one tour and that was in Juneau.... To the glacier and the the salmon BBQ. It was just ok. I just walked around for a bit in Ketchikan. Nice quaint small town. I think what empressed me the most about my Alaska experience was the countless views. Alaska is truly and has some breathtaking views.

Loved every minute of our first return to cruising. We were completely at ease with protocols and the care being taken.

Learned a lot about nature the Alaska environment and animals & people who live and visit there.

My husband loves music so the music activities and bands aboard were his favorite. I lived the gambling and meeting new people.

I have already given a summary of this ship which is not up to the standards of other cruises I have taken. While the staff was fine, the food was not. There was a strong emphasis on coffee and liquor packages & the coffee was no better at their International Cafe which served an asparagus quiche with canned asparagus which was very metallic tasting. I did not take an of their excursions doing my own thing so cannot comment on that altho other pax seemed to be fine with theirs.

You, all have made this cruise a very memorable journey for me, one that I will always remember and cherish for the rest of my life. You, have welcomed me and  (all more special) made me feel like FAMILY. I wished there was more time on this cruise to meet more awesome people like yourselves. I definitely left a little piece of my heart on that cruise ship because of you. 

 As I disembarked for the last time at port of San Francisco I couldn't help but re-enact with what seems like the end of a very awesome movie where the credits roll and the sad song starts to play, although your smiles will begin to fade your songs and your dance will always remain, tucked away, in a very special place in my heart. 

 And finally, I really hate 'goodbyes' i hate saying goodbyes. In Hawaii there's o ne word that replaces the word goodbye and that is "ALOHA" to each and everyone of you for taking the time out to sign my tee-shirt with princess logo on it. 

This was a start of our 50th Anniversary coming next April 9th, 2016. 

We were really happy with taking a local cruise and sailing to Mexico.  It was great not to have to fly back home.

Our room was fine but the bed was way to firm.  I took a blow up camping mat which saved my back. It fit perfectly under the sheet.

The entertainment was the best I've ever seen any cruise ship. They did a knock out job!

The food and service was above average. We never went to the speciality restaurants because we were happy with what they had to serve in the dining room.  Making a reservation for a locked in time in the dining room was the best.

I really wish there would have been one more stop on the cruise instead 4 stops.

Most of the staff is from the Philippines with a Captain from England.
