Review summary

We had a quick cruise but it felt as relaxing as a 7 day cruise! We would do this cruise again for sure! Loved that it was an 80s themed cruise too!

Embarkation

Embarkation was fast! We arrived a little early due to the Princess transportation getting us there about 30 mins early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Seemed like portion sizes were smaller which for us was just fine. We went to Sabatinis and had an amazing meal. We went to the buffet once for breakfast and once for a snack. Loved the grab and go options. I do wish gluten free options were more plentiful and don't get me started on having margarine verses butter!

Sabatini

Such Great service! Cannot wait to go back. The food is always amazing at Sabatinis and they do their best to make gluten free options. I have Veal Marsala and it was so so good!

Vines Bar

Amel was so great to have for our cruise. He was very attentive and gave great recommendations. He left him a gift for his wonderful service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
This was a super laid back cruise but plenty of activities and I love how they were centered around the 80s!!

Calypso Reef And Pool

Service was very good. Loved the free (complimentary) chips and guacamole with our drinks. We ordered from the app and had it delivered by the hot tub!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin felt so spacious! This is our 9th Princess cruise and we have been in a balcony room and interior. This was an interior cabin but it felt very spacious!

Ship tip

Right now capacity is low so be prepared to be the center of attention of the staff 😉 They are so happy to be cruising and working again.

Ports of call

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
We walked around the city and went out to Balboa park. It was quite a walk but worth it. There is so much to see! There is always something going on the San Diego...there was a marathon in town when we were there! Tons of life and energy!

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

DSB Journey tribute band, so fabulous...I haven't stopped singing the songs! British Invasion tour!! So good! Sabina's featured on Anthony Bourdain's pick to eat it in Ensenada! We recommend the tostadas and tacos! So good...octopus and shrimp...yum!
