Very beautiful trip to Alaska with Glaciers, Whales and fun. 7 days was a good length but the weather was 40 and rainy for us so I had a cold and by the end of the trip the whole boat was coughing- bring cough medicine and vicks. Food was very good with choices and super desserts. The entertainment was first rate. The boat was cold so bring a big coat even in summer for the cruise through glacier bay when you want to go on top of boat in the wind.
Embarkation

easy if you have the medallion all filled out to green
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
A little hard if you have food allergies- not a lot of gluten free. A great head waiter had me order ahead for meals and went the extra mile. Be sure to reserve dining rooms early they book up. The pay extra restaurant was not really worth the $39 each. The buffet is great for breakfast and lunch but drinks are limited because they want to up sell the pop and alcohol and special coffee.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
nice ping pong tables and hot tubs but were outside in Alaska- should have closed them in ship was repurposed not built for cold.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Comedian was great, magician was great, book authors were good. Nature programs were the best. The musicals were very geared to older people.
Children's Programs
no kids taken
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Hector was the best head waiter and did great with my food allergies. The others did not fix leaky shower or broken light or dining room door.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
nice size ship easy to walk about but cold for Alaska and not many great warm viewing areas for glaciers.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
bed was comfortable and bathroom was good size, cold so I turned up heat and got extra blanket
Ship tip
Take the heavy coat and gloves, reserve dining early, go on Juneau whale watching trip
